3 Employees Arrested at Work
According to the El Paso Police Department, a woman and her boyfriend were threatened with guns and explicit language after asking for a manager in the drive-through where they were trying to order donuts.
After asking to speak with a manager, the couple drove to the next window where they were confronted by three employees all brandishing handguns (all my homies hate difficult customers). One employee even chambered a round and pointed it at the car saying “y’all gonna die tonight”.
The 17, 19, and 20-year-old workers were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The bond was set at $100k. Gonna be tough to explain in their next interview why they left their previous job…
This is one way of avoiding getting food thrown in your face…like what happened recently at Chipotle.
We obviously donut recommend threatening customers.

How Employees Really Feel About Holiday Parties
A new survey of 1,000 US-based employees found that over 2/3 of employees are RSVP’ing “no” to their company’s holiday parties.
Has the workforce become full of Grinches?! Not really… The majority of respondents said they’d prefer a bonus or extra time with family and friends instead.
In fact, 64% of respondents said they’ve reduced or stopped attending after-hours work events entirely this year.
This trend could be of real concern for employers as it’s well-documented that participation in company culture and non-work interactions with colleagues improves job performance and overall employee satisfaction.
Reasons workers gave for their lack of Christmas spirit include feeling like they already socialize enough during work (36%), wanting to separate personal and professional life (33%), and wanting more time with friends and family (28%).

JOBS
New Job Site Just Dropped
Late last week, salesforce announced its new Trailblazer Career Marketplace, a job site connected to Salesforce’s Trailhead learning platform.
On the job site, job seekers can select “career mode” to showcase their Trailblazer profile. A salesforce trailblazer profile shows an employee’s level of training by awarding badges and promotions via tiers.
Basically a digital Boy Scouts vest for your career!
Job seekers will be able to search for jobs from Salesforce and partner employers. Candidates can filter based on their work history, skills, and credentials earned through the platform. Similarly, employers can search for candidates based on desired skills and credentials in the Trailhead system.
They just re-invented LinkedIn!

The platform is open to all job seekers, regardless of Salesforce experience, but only Salesforce partner employers have access to the hiring marketplace as of now.
